The Abacus Energy leadership team is a group of power industry veterans who are passionate about disrupting the old ways of residential electricity and innovating new.
We’re also Texans who have a deep desire to help protect our fellow residents from the perils facing the states electric grid and aid transition into the future.
Our Approach
Abacus Energy started to share our knowledge of the power industy with fellow Texans. We believe that when you understand where power comes from, and why prices change, you are no longer at the mercy of power companies.

The Abacus team was professional, flexible and knowledgeable–they navigated the process to assess, install and interface with the city to get rebates and credit for us. Solar installation on my Austin home was easy with Abacus.
